Anonymous accounts can be traced using IP addresses. This IP address contains the location of the person through his connection. There are simple instructions to locate the IP address of the sender and IT experts already know how to locate the address. But locating the addresses doesn’t mean you already found the culprit. For the anonymous survey, you could make the name and email questions required so they must submit something for the fields. If you're using Forms Pro, I believe there's validation for email format input, but vanilla Forms doesn't have this functionality.
