Disconnected by VAC: You cannot play on - Steam Support
Jun 28, 2020 · That being said, in the last 10 minutes over 2000 users (Update: now over 4000) have reported issues with the Steam network. It also appears that this isn't just a problem for the Steam Store, but the entire Steam service, with users reporting that they can't log in to play. Can't connect to Steam on latest GOG Galaxy (on macOS if this matters). I enter username and password, don't get prompt to enter authenticator code (don't know if I should get one) and after some time it says "Offline Retry".
